I grew up and graduated in nearby Wood River. My college experience took me out West to Nebraska-Kearney where I received my degree in 7-12 Education with a Social Science Endorsement.
After graduating from U.N.K. I was lucky enough to land my first job at a wonderful school district in Pawnee City, NE. At P.C.H.S. I taught grades 7-11 as well as coached high school football and girls basketball as well as junior high football, basketball and track.
I am married (going on 5 years) to my beautiful wife Elizabeth. In our spare time we enjoy working on our yard and spending time with our families. I also like to play and watch most sports. My mom and dad are still located in the Wood River area where my dad farms. I have 3 sisters who all live in Eastern Nebraska pursuing their own careers.
Here at Doniphan-Trumbull, I teach grades 8-10 Social Studies as well as Junior MAP. During the winter season I am the head high school girls basketball coach and during the fall I help out with the GICC/DT Softball team.
